This user-friendly distance learning experience is a course that you can take at your own pace. You can take it all at once or just a bit at a time. And, with a pre- and post-test, you’ll be able to see how much you've learned!
During this one-hour class, you will learn how to use newspapers to teach language arts, math, science and social studies. You will also learn how easy it is to match newspaper lessons to your state standards.
The course includes several reproducible activity sheets that you can use with your students. And, it will automatically generate a certificate of completion, too, so you may be able to receive continuing education credit or partial credit for taking this class. While the course teaches newspaper use and doesn't focus solely on e-editions, it does show the benefits of e-editions for students without negating the value of the print edition.
